On Tuesday, August 4, the FBI Washington Field Office partners with local law enforcement—such as the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD)—and joins communities across the DC region to promote crime prevention and police-community relationships.
The annual celebration features various community gatherings, ranging from neighborhood block parties to police district cookouts. Attendees typically have the opportunity to interact with FBI agents, local officers, and first responders, explore emergency response vehicles, and enjoy family-friendly activities.

WFO and DC Citizens Academy Alumni are recruiting volunteers to participate in each of the (6) regional locations on Aug 4th. If you are interested in supporting this night of community service, please RSVP below. We are looking for approximately 3 volunteers per site, and non-CA guests are welcome.
