How to Become a Member
All graduates of the FBI Washington DC (WFO) Citizens Academy are eligible to become members of the FBI Washington DC Citizens Academy Alumni Association (FBI DC CAAA) upon successful graduation of the FBI Washington DC (WFO) Citizens Academy program.
Membership Terms: By becoming a member of the FBI Washington DC Citizens Academy Alumni Association, you acknowledge that you have successfully completed and graduated from an FBI Citizens Academy. You also agree to abide by the Bylaws, Code of Business Ethics & Conduct, and Sexual Harassment policies of the FBI Washington DC Citizens Academy Alumni Association, and hereby consent to periodic background checks to be conducted by the FBI in order to remain a member in good standing.
Membership renewals are payable on January 1st of each year and become delinquent after April 1st of the same year (FBICAAA Bylaws: Article III Section 3.2).
Annual memberships run from January 1st through December 31st of the same calendar year.
Payments or donations by any person or entity not eligible to be a member are greatly appreciated and encouraged. However, no membership privileges will be conferred and no refunds will be issued.
The FBI Washington DC Citizens Academy Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization separate and apart from the FBI and amounts paid may qualify as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. Consult your tax advisor as appropriate. No good or services are provided in exchange for this contribution.
Graduates must complete the application below and upon approval by the Association, may become a member in good standing by paying the required annual dues.
