FBI DC Citizens Academy Alumni Volunteer to support the
TSA Canine Decoy Training Program at DCA
Volunteers are a key part of the TSA Canine Program’s success. By volunteering, you help keep our canine teams sharp and ready for real-world missions.
As a volunteer, you act as a covert role player during training. You may be asked to carry a training item and asked to move naturally through different parts of the airport. The canine teams will then try to find you using only the dogs’ detection skills. This training is designed to be as close as possible to real-life situations and helps our dogs stay effective in busy airport environments!
If you are interested, please use the RSVP button to respond and we will share the Calendar of Volunteer dates for November. This will be a recurring monthly program.
While it may feel like a high-stakes game of hide and seek, this training is a serious and important part of keeping our canine teams ready for duty!
FBI Washington DC Citizens Academy Alumni Association is a nonprofit organization separate and apart from the FBI. The FBI DC CAAA is a U.S. 501(c)(3) and therefore donations may be tax-deductible.
